UPMC Fact: Researchers at the UPMC Rehabilitation Institute and the University of Pittsburgh created the GameCycle®. Part exercise machine and part video game, it is designed to keep patients interested and motivated while improving their physical strength and motor skills. The GameCycle is now used in rehabilitation facilities around the world.
